History of SIPs
It all started in the 1930s when sandwich panel construction was first used in aircraft manufacturing.
In the 1950s, architects and builders began exploring ways to apply this technology to residential and commercial construction.
SIPs had become increasingly popular in Europe and USA, offering superior thermal performance and structural strength compared to traditional construction methods. Today, SIPs are widely recognized as a versatile and sustainable building solution. They offer numerous advantages, including energy efficiency, rapid construction, reduced material waste, and enhanced indoor comfort.
Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are used in construction projects around the world, but their popularity varies from country to country. Some of the countries where SIP panels are commonly used include: USA, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Sweden, Finland.
